Dude you're fine. It's your opinion.

People need to lighten up. Downtown Fresno is dead most of the time. Born and raised here. Just keep doing you Man and being funny. People will get over themselves

That's his opinion,so why is he being crucified for his opinion cause other's don't agree🤔

Might take a lil bit of time .but I think I can forgive her.

Good grief! Let people have their opinions without expecting an apology. You don’t like my town? 🤷🏼‍♀️ ok

What you did was completely unfair! You should stick to what you know! Not what you have zero clue about! And I will decaf you at the Starbucks across the street if you come in!! Just sayin...

Dude, you don’t have to apologize. Downtown Fresno is pretty dull. Every city has good and bad parts

Mark you don’t have to apologize 😒 Everyone one is entitled to an opinion. Good luck on the musical 🤷🏻‍♀️

The man who painted the sign Fresno is no longer with us and he would’ve been upset you used his mural to disrespect our city. FranCisco Vargas RIP

Naw, you’re good. No need to say sorry. Fresno definitely sucks

Fresno should build a wall south of shaw ave. And make the calwa pay for it

Lol no need for the apologies Fresno sucks and so so have the people who live in it

It's pretty sad when a person can't express an opinion, in a lighthearted manner, without this kind of backlash.

Nope we can't be friends sorry dude . get out and don't come back

The city stood up and the guy fell flat but, let's face it, we can never go sit through another play or musical if we don't want to lol. That's my take. A Take that Fresno is known for being a tough town for a reason. I personally wasn't offended by the clips I saw but, when you are a "member" maybe you will be. It's not so much the city, buildings and establishments as it is the proud peasants.

Forgive and forget, water under the bridge besides, Fresno is boring no need to apologies.

Not sure if that is Possible! Lets see what happens next time your back in Fresnyes! Let wait and see!

He didn't say anything than people that live her don't say. Downtown at 5:10 p.m. is a literal ghost town.

Us Fresnans love our city. ....so we stick up for it! I take his apology.....but just wish that he was able to see the rest of our city. I mean it might not be up to what people think is really exciting City...... but many of us can just go up north tour beautiful San Luis Obispo, or go South to the beautiful beaches in the LA area, are just head up to beautiful Yosemite we're right in the middle of it all and I'm happy and proud about that! All in all our people here all seem to get along and that's a good thing! And not only that we have our famous son Derek Carr that has done so much for the Raiders football team and our beautiful Hospital Valley Children's!!!!. Can't get any better than that!!!!!!

All of sudden people love living in Fresno 🤦🏼‍♀️😂🤷🏼‍♀️😂

Fresno sucks I feel ya bro, don’t know what he said about Fresno but it’s a sink hole. And those who are successful here in Fresno I applaud you and hope for the best. But for us strugglers out there I rather give encouragement but it might mean shite. But we got this!!! 💪🏼 make the most of where you live and keep moving forward from toxicity of this city! Lol sounds like a System of a Down quote..... lol

Dont know who he is. Dont care

Sounds like a sincere apology,....from an actor. Free publicity for himself and the play,....Mission accomplished.

Why is he apologizing now his show should of gotten canceled

Lucky you weren't a cast member of the lion king from Broadway show

What’s New in Kerman!

Central High West Teacher Arrested for Sexting Student

On Tuesday, detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Sex Crimes Unit arrested 31 year old Fabian Botero of Clovis. He was booked into the Fresno County Jail on a felony charge of using electronic communication devices to solicit sexual acts with a minor.

Earlier in the day, school administrators at Central High School’s West Campus in Fresno received a report of inappropriate behavior taking place between a teacher and student. The accused man is a chemistry teacher named Fabian Botero. The reporting person said Botero had exchanged several sexually graphic messages with a 15 year old girl through emails, text messages and voice calls. The school immediately reported this information to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office for further investigation.

A sheriff’s detective responded to the school and conducted a lengthy interview with Botero. During this time, Botero admitted to the inappropriate behavior. It was determined the teacher and student exchanged email addresses in September 2018. They began communicating on a regular basis and Botero initiated conversations that were sexual in nature. The relationship eventually evolved to where they exchanged phone numbers. Botero continued to make sexual advances toward the girl through texts and phone calls. This behavior continued through January 2019 and then they quit communicating for unknown reasons. As of now, there is no evidence to show Botero and the student engaged in any physical activity. This remains an ongoing investigation.

This is the first Fabian Botero had taught at a Fresno area school. His prior five years of teaching all took place in southern California.

Central Unified School District has released the following statement.

“Effective immediately, Mr. Botero is no longer an employee with Central Unified School District. His arrest, based on the felony charge, is deeply disturbing. All interactions between staff and students should have the highest standards of professionalism and boundaries. The behavior that led to these charges is absolutely unacceptable for anyone, especially an educator.

Student safety is a top priority for the district and as such, we are fully cooperating with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office and will continue to do so throughout the course of its investigation. We’re taking measures to ensure classes aren’t disrupted and additional support staff and counselors will be on campus for students and staff.

We appreciate the swift action of our high school administrators who immediately contacted law enforcement as soon as the allegations surfaced this morning. We're also grateful for our partnership with the Fresno County Sheriff.”

The Sheriff’s Office would like to remind parents to be vigilant when it comes to monitoring kids’ phone, email and social media usage. Educate yourself on what software apps they are using. Keep an open line of communication with your son or daughter so you can stay aware of challenges they are facing and identify any sudden changes in their mood. If you learn of any suspicious behavior, report it right away to law enforcement.

There is a possibility that there are other victims out there who have not reported Botero’s behavior. If you are aware of such, please contact Detective Jesse Gloria at (559) 600-8217 or Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP (7867), www.valleycrimestoppers.org

Dumb

This is terrible! There is no excuse. He is charged with a felony yet you can run over and kill a person, take off because you are drunk, come back and view the dead person lying in the road 3 times, leave again and fix your vehicle and only say something when someone else is going to turn you on.... And only be charged with a misdemeanor. Our system is messed up!

What a creepy guy. 🤢
